OOTD: The Summer Go-To Outfit

Some outfits just seem to be right for every occasion – and I think we all have one in our wardrobe. It changes season to season, but right now, whatever plans my diary throws at me, I find myself reaching for this simple combo. The white Broderie Anglaise dress from * is the ideal length for work and play, I love the knee length skirt length – it’s quite a flattering length, and still shows a bit of leg while remaining elegant.

The scalloped edge to the skirt is a pretty detail, and I’ve added to the feminine look my bringing in the waist with my favourite Rose Gold belt from Reiss. The Rose Gold matches my Monica Vinader jewellery, the classic Labradorite Siren Bezel Pendent is quickly becoming my signature necklace, along with my sample sale bargain – the Fiji friendship bracelet which I purchased for just £25 (usually £125!).
Oh you spotted it?! Yep that’s a new Mulberry! The size of the Medium Lily is ideal for everyday use – I can fit in my iPad mini, phone, purse and oyster wallet, still leaving room for the odd makeup essential!
The shoes are my absolute favourites right now. The heel height is perfect for giving shorties like me a bit of extra lift, while the straps mean they are super comfy. I love the contrasting colours in classic shades – which mean they match so many different outfits. The sandals are just £25 (the Kurt Geiger versions are triple this price!) from . I’ve been heading to the HoF website for shoe shopping much more recently – they’ve done all the hard work for us by selecting the best styles from loads of retailers like Dorothy Perkins, Dune, Office, Carvela and Nine West.
