It’s the final part of my mini series where I show you three ways that I wear my black skinny jeans from New Look! The first look was a dressed down, knitted layers look wearing Warehouse and Whistles. Next, in my second look I wore an all black look but showed how skinnies can be glamorous too with some carefully chosen accessories from Dune, Whistles and Topshop. My third and final look is a mix between the two. A slogan top can be work as an everyday piece, but team it with the right accessories and it can be a chic work or play outfit too.
For this look I’ve styled my New Look jeans with a slogan top from Whistles, reading Tres Bien Merci. Whistles are known for their statement Grey Marl sweatshirts, and I snapped this one up as soon as I saw it! It’s the ideal piece for throwing on and achieving an easy chic look, especially with a flattering pair of skinnies. To keep the attention on the slogan top, I also wore my Russell & Bromley boots to add a bit of height but still being easy to walk in, and also a black hat from Amelia Jane London. I’ll be wearing this look to travel to New York on Saturday as its so easy to whip off the layers when you’re on the plane, then bundle them all back on again when you land!
Also to accessorise this every day look, I’ve chosen this over-body bag from . I often find it liberating when I don’t have to carry my handbag in my hands, so I can fling this one over my shoulder and know all my essentials are safe, and I can still carry my Starbucks with ease!
