The second half of our trip to NYC was just so bitterly cold, that on a few occasions we chose to hide out in the warmth of our hotel rather than venture out to the shows! Using a camera with gloves is also rather challenging, so apologies that I don’t have many pictures to share! We checked out the beauty backstage before the Georgine Show, where MAC created a bold look with intense berry red lips and smoked out eyes, to complement the collection which featured jewel tones and luxe fabrics in fur, leather and brocade.
We also enjoyed more incredible meals, including my favourite breakfast spot; Bubby’s and then a feast at Sushi Samba (we ordered way too much!). We crashed some guy’s Tinder date at speak-easy bar Employees Only, then headed to Up and Down club (apparently the latest place to be seen!) before ending the evening at The Standard hotel’s rooftop bar.
Vicky managed to get us tickets to join the audience at David Letterman’s Late Show, and although we didn’t really know who the celeb guests were (American TV stars apparently!) it was so interesting to see how the show is filmed!
I may have developed an obsession with Pinkberry!
And before we headed home, we took a last stroll through Central Park to get some NYC selfies!
So another whirlwind trip over, and now for LFW! Part 1 of my NYFW Diary is here if you missed it, and keep an eye on the blog for my LFW diary photos coming very soon.
