It’s November, and therefore it’s officially OK to start talking about Christmas, right?

Right! The upcoming festive season guarantees a calendar full of invites – whether that’s a dinner in an elegant restaurant with clients that you work with, or a more intimate cocktail evening at a friends house. Putting together different looks for back-to-back celebrations isn’t easy, and with so many social occasions it can be expensive too. I’m starting to plan my festive wardrobe now, so that I can begin choosing some classic investment pieces including elegant dresses, ladylike two piece outfits and classic accessories.

Here are three beautiful looks, from dresses to details, which will ensure you look fashionable, feminine and festive no matter what the occasion!

While I am not usually a fan of all black #ootds, I feel there is a timeless elegance to the shade during the festive season. When paired with feminine accessories, a black classic look can be kept in the wardrobe for many different occasions.

I elevated the all black look with jewellery from the Pandora Christmas collection, keeping it classic by opting for beautiful pearl designs. When it comes to elegance and timless fashion, there is simply nothing more beautiful than pearl jewellery.

As the outfit is a two piece – a delicate lace long sleeved top and pleated black culottes, I opted to ensure my jewellery was all matching, to tie the entire look together. The Pandora pearl necklace makes the greatest statement, contrasting against the black fabric, while the ring and hanging drop earrings complete the look.

For this look, I chose to pull my hair into a ponytail – it felt more chic, and made this beautiful look seem a little more wearable.

Of all my festive occasion-wear outfits, this one is the most practical and wearable – a perfect starting point to build up a festive wardrobe.

The second look is for glamorous occasions.

Cocktail parties, elaborate events and glamorous soirees. I fell a little in love with this peachy salmon cocktail dress the moment I saw it for the first time, the silk material perfectly figure hugging, with an elegant fishtail hem to add some festive fun. The embellished waistband is the only detail, meaning once again you can let your jewellery do the talking.

The great thing about pearls is that they work with pretty much every look – from fabulous cocktail dresses to jeans and a jumper, so just one well made purchase decision ahead of the festive season will ensure you are perfectly bejewelled for all of your upcoming events. Once again, my pearl trio from Pandora completed this feminine look.

I saved the best til last – this fabulous black dress is anything but plain. With a full feather skirt and sparkling bodice, it’s the ultimate Christmas Party outfit. For those who feel most comfortable in black, it’s a perfect way of bringing sparkle and fun to a look.

Dazzling jewels are not needed with such a detailed dress, but thankfully the subtle beauty of pearls mean that they too work for this look – the neckline of the dress perfectly framing the hanging pearl necklace, with the ring and earrings completing the look.
