So you want a new handbag…
Yet the designer handbag market is all, well, the same. The same names you’ve seen on the arms of countless people as you stroll down the highstreet, the same styles being watered down onto the highstreet, and you want something a little bit different. An attainable price point is something that’s important to us millennial savvy shoppers, but we still want the high quality leather, something that looks and feels high end, and we want to have the final say of how the bag looks.
Demanding right? Yes, absolutely so, but the new and refreshingly different brand Ades ticks all of those boxes. The inital collection features just a few designs, each stage of the design has been approved by the target market – from the leather, to the colour, to the design details. Naturally, the bag has been designed to be totally functional – you’re going to want to get a lot of use out of your new bag so a spacious design is key. Large enough to fit your laptop and all your other daily essentials, the softly structured tote is easy to fit into your everyday wardrobe. The soft, buttery leather is of the highest quality, my ANA bag in fact is crafted from the same calfskin leather as you’d find on a Hermès Kelly bag, and yet the limited edition piece has a price tag that’s far more appealing than the designer counterpart.
Personalisation is a huge trend within the luxury bag market at the moment, but Ades take this personalisation to a whole new level. Far more than simple embossing, painting or adding a hassle here and there, almost every aspect of the Ades bags has been voted for by the community via their website giving us a genuine decision maker experience that has never been seen before within the luxury handbag market. It’s empowering, it’s unique, and it’s a connection the brand create with their consumer before you even see your bag in the flesh for the very first time.
As a hard to please consumer myself, I look for a bag with longevity, practicality and a personal connection – not just another It bag, and that’s exactly what you get with an Ades bag. I love the design details from the perfectly shaped fringing to the tightly woven leather handles. The lining makes a statement but is practical too, and the shoulder strap makes the bag perfect as a fully functioning bag for work as well as pleasure.
A Bag To Match your Wardrobe
When investing in a luxury bag, versatility with my wardrobe is of utmost importance. The neutral and wearable shade of the iconic ANA bag is exactly that, and yet the navy shade is one that I do not currently have in my bag collection.
It works with my neutral colour palette, and here I’ve paired with my current favourite pair of faux suede leggings – a cosy and chic essential for Autumn! As well as a classic white ribbed knit jumper and faux fur gilet for warmth and extra trend points!
