Throughout 2017 we have been slowly renovating each room in the house which has made me even more obsessed with instagrammable decor and homewares. It was hard to not just include everything from Anthropologie or Oliver Bonas – both brands have really upped their game this year and are selling gorgeous pieces, from furniture to coasters!
When christmas shopping for any loved one, I always look out for eye catching home picks they would love but wouldn’t necessarily purchase for themselves. Whatever your budget, you can pick up something adorable for a loved ones home; whether that’s something small like these crystal geode coasters which make a big impact or this pink cloud chair which will make a huge statement to someones bedroom.
You can never go wrong with a luxury candle since they have become the ultimate home accessory. My favourite is one from Jo Malone as the compelling scent lingers around the entire house creating a cosy and inviting home for everyone – plus, how cute do they look on the mantle piece?!
Cute picture frames filled with pictures is such a lovely gift as not only does it satisfy the home bodies needs but it’s a personal touch which can’t be beaten by anything else. It’s also rose gold which looks beautiful placed next to anything.
It’s the perfect time of year to provide the interior obsessed with some new instagramable glasses, champagne glasses in particular, as they’ll most likely be used on Christmas day or most definitely at New Year. If you want to take presents on an even higher practical level, a new kettle or toaster is always a good idea. Choose one in their favourite colour and they’ll be forever grateful for the kitchen applicant upgrade!
Vases are another good one; for me I love flowers and love to receive them but I never have enough vases to put them in – especially for birthdays or other special occasions *an engagement maybe!!!* – I’m sure I can’t be the only one. Anything pink, white or marble and I’m in interior heaven.
