How To Style Missoma Jewellery
Missoma, I discovered recently, is a brand I’ve been pronouncing incorrectly for years. Instead of ‘Miz-Oh-Mah‘, it’s actually pronounced ‘Miss-Summer‘ – who knew?! Just like Bvlgari and Moet Chandon, that will be one that takes a little getting used to, that’s for sure. When it comes to styling jewellery with your outfit, I’m certainly a part of the ‘less is more’ camp. I like my jewellery to finish off an outfit, a delicate touch, without being the focal point. A well placed necklace can transform a plain cashmere jumper or white tee and jeans combination, from one that’s a little dull and lacking in personality, to a look that appears well thought out, and chic. Case in point the look above. The Lucy Williams x Missoma Horn Necklace is a piece you’ll no doubt be familiar with from Instagram, and for good reason, it looks brilliant with so many things. At this time of year, I find it to be the perfect length and size for wearing over knitwear (it’s the perfect balance of being eye catching, and also blending in with my outfit) and sometimes layering up with shorter necklaces too. In the Summer, I wore it to the beach with bikinis or cover ups, it’s such a good quality piece that even if you never take it off during your beach holiday, it won’t tarnish or scratch, and this for me is why I always opt for the more premium brands when it comes to jewellery – because when I invest in a classic piece like this, I’ll literally wear it on repeat.

Layering Necklaces
When it comes to adding even more interest to a look, I like to layer my jewellery, especially when the garment I’m wearing is more simple; perhaps a high neck like this cashmere jumper. I like to combine two differing lengths, and always the same metal colour, here I chose two yellow gold chains with the beautiful Rose Quartz pendant and Rose Quartz necklace. Set with 18ct Gold Vermeil, they feature the gemstone that represents love and friendship. As well as being beautiful to the eye, rose quartz is known to raise self esteem and teach us to love ourselves – making it the perfect design to treat either yourself or a loved one to.
