Hello darlings! I thought I’d share a few of my beauty favourites with you in time for the bank holiday weekend. Perfect for a weekend of pampering and relaxing. A foundry weekend feels like the perfect opportunity to try something new, so here are some beauty products I’m loving at the moment, and think you might too!
First we have my current favourite multi-tasking beauty balm from Neal’s Yard. The Wild Rose Beauty Balm (1) has such a lovely consistency and the packaging so pretty too! It’s what’s inside that really WOWs though, the Rosehip Oil helps to moisturise, nourish and calm the skin, and I even find it helps to heal areas of dry skin and discolouration. If you are a subscriber to my newsletter you might have seen you can be in with a chance to get yourself a free sample too.
Secondly is this clever little lipstick from Guerlain. They’ve just launched Matte versions of the Rouge G lipsticks (2); it’s totally customisable but my personal favourite is No.5 paired with the nude croc effect cover. The lipstick is of course refillable, so you can replace just the bullet each time you run out, or pick a few shades to really mix and match. Another pretty pink piece is this By Terry blush (3). I love the mix of tones on the skin, perfect for when the sun’s out. Mine has finally hit pan, so I’ll be treating myself to a new one this weekend.
I was kindly gifted this Amethyst water bottle (4) a little while ago and whilst it’s fairly pricey it’s both beautiful and beneficial if you’re into crystals. It’s got a stick of amethyst in the middle which holds all sorts of healing benefits and it’s good for the environment, being made of glass so it can be used for years to come! I always take mine to yoga, and it’s actually a great conversation starter too! Speaking of hydration, if your skin is in need of a pick-me-up over the weekend, treat it to some SOS from Caudalie (5), their intense moisturising cream is exactly what my skin needs when it’s lacklustre, the ingredients are fresh and 97% natural, the scent is subtle but heavenly and instantly it leaves skin feeling comfortable upon application. The Fresh Kombucha Essence (10)is a new favourite within my skincare routine, also great at protecting and hydrating the skin, it’s the first step in my skincare routine, helping my other products penetrate the skin in a more effective way, as well as providing protection against environmental polluters, to give a more luminous complexion.
I’m also loving these two new Spring palettes. This Tropic palette (6) is fab as you can totally customise it, naturally I go for a selection of soft pinks and subtle highlighters. Pick the cream or powder products you’ll use the most, or mix and match depending on what and where you’ll use it. It’s so slim and handy for keeping in your handbag, it’s also a gym bag favourite! I also ADORE this beautiful Bobbi Brown rosy palette from the Ulla Johnson collaboration (9). I love the selection of colours and the packaging is just beautiful too! The pinky tones are so lovely, and yet wearable too.
Finally two new stick-based products! I spent the weekend with bareMinerals recently to celebrate the launch of their new Complexion Rescue Hydrating foundation stick (7) which I absolutely adore. Great if your skin is a little dry, as it contains 30% mineral water, and it gives the skin a beautiful GLOW. Also from bareMinerals, I think this Floral Utopia highlighter(8) is to die for, especially with the beautiful packaging! It’s part of their limited edition collection, so don’t delay if you fancy picking it up too!
