How To Wear Summer Dresses in Autumn
Hi darlings, we are back with another round up of some of my favourite outfits of the week, and it looks like they all share something in common!
I’ve been reluctant to put away my summer dresses and playsuits; the warm days here in the UK are so few and far between that I don’t feel that I’ve truly got my price per wear from them yet, and quite frankly I adore them and want to wear them into Autumn too! While it was still fairly warm in LA, it gave me the chance to wear them again, but now back home, I’ve been adding layers to make them temperature appropriate. The first thing you can do of course is add a pair of OTK boots. My Stuart Weitzman’s are great at keeping my legs warm and covered, but working perfectly with my jumpsuits. The autumnal tones of the jumpsuit above make it perfect for the new season, and I could even sneak a Thermal underneath and wear with a faux fur coat or gilet too!
Let’s take a look at some of the other dresses I’ve been styling lately!
The darker tones in this dress make it fabulous for this time of year, and also perfect for winter evening events too. You’d never know it but I’m wearing a long sleeve thermal top and tights in this image here, and yep, I’m obsessed with this tiny Chloe bag! I paired with the ultra comfortable Ecco Shape boots in the classic black tone; perfect if you’ve got some walking to do, or need to be super stable on your feet after a glass of wine or two hehe!
You darlings probably know how obsessed I am with this dress and just because the temperatures are getting cooler, doesn’t mean it’s going to be pushed to the back of my wardrobe! Here in London I’m currently wearing with Knee High white boots, and a lovely wool coat, as well as these Fendi sunglasses which are just an absolute dream; I wore them all summer and won’t be stopping just because the temperatures are cooler! They absolutely make every outfit ultra chic!
