Last Minute Gifts For Him this Christmas

What to buy those ‘Tricky to buy for’ Chaps this Christmas!

Ok I’ll admit it, it is tempting to create a load of CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDES for ladies; because truly I enjoy browsing through the female fashion pages so much – but what I really get stumped on at this time of year is the gifting for the chaps – so I thought I would help you all out for any ‘tricky to buy for’ men in your life with a gift guide just for men! This year, I’ve picked up a few of Charlie’s gifts from LuisaViaRoma; and found they have a brilliant selection of gift ideas ranging from fashion pieces to beauty and fragrance, as well as some lovely stocking fillers too – so hopefully my recommendations here might help you out!

Use Code FP40 for 40% off full priced items – excluding starred items!

A few stocking fillers that are fail safe for Charlie include fragrances; his favourite being Tom Ford Ombre Leather – seriously – every time Charlie wears this he gets so many people asking him what scent he is wearing, it’s a surprise that 90% of the gentlemen population of The Cotswolds doesn’t smell of Tom Ford Ombre Leather at this point! I thought I’d also try something a little different; so this year I might pick him up a Byredo Out Immortel as well.

If your husband / boyfriend / brother / whoever you’re buying for (from now on just known as ‘your man’) is a lover of pampering baths after a tough workout or day at the office, then a luxurious bath soak could be a wonderful stocking filler, and The Retreat salts from Seed to Skin are beautifully presented – and the brand is absolutely heavenly. Few men make time for facials, but a black Foreo device which can be used in the shower is a great way of encouraging deeper cleansing from  home, and finally for pampering, I think a fancy razor always goes down well too, and I thought this one from Ernest Supplies could look very chic on your bathroom counter!

I thought these suede gloves from Mario Portolano could make for a lovely stocking filler too; especially after the cold snap we’ve experienced lately, and the green suede is really quite beautiful! Equally a cosy knit is always a lovely gift, and I think Charlie will love this wool sweater from Oamc – perfect for layering under blazers or gilets! The Barbour hat and scarf set is perfect for countryside or city styling alike, and the deep green wool should work with all the outfits in his wardrobe too!

Finally for stocking fillers a luxury wallet is always a really lovely and generous gift; this pebble leather card holder from Thom Browne is a really lovely option and beautiful quality; but there are also some more ‘flashy’ options too like this one with the cash clip from YSL – depending on his style!!

A few ‘big ticket’ things that I know Charlie would love include these fabulous leather Chelsea boots from Church’s (one of Charlie’s all time favourite footwear brands) – or this stylish green suede slip on desert shoes from Loro Piana – both are high price point pieces so very generous gift ideas, but perhaps not something he’d treat himself to.

Something a little ‘safer’ to gift are practically rucksacks; I know Charlie would adore this Chocolate brown suede backpack from Tom Ford, or depending on your man’s style, this Bottega Venetta sling bag could be a stylish and practical gift idea.

Charlie also loves his Theragun, and this Therabody looks equally as epic for those who love intense workouts but are often complaining about muscular pains!

If your man loves to travel, there are some super luggage options on LuisaViaRoma, and this FPM Milano Spinner case is a practical and also stylish option, with a lovely soft leather handle and internal shirt holder.

If you’re confident in your chaps’ wardrobe choices then choosing some fashion pieces is a wonderful way to win at Christmas. Of course Charlie adores anything by Barbour (he might just be finding this gilet under the tree this year) and if your man doesn’t yet have a classic wax Barbour jacket, then here’s the best one to treat him to!

For something a bit more ‘stylish’ then the new dark olive hooded jacket from Barbour could be the perfect option; practical and stylish! We both also love all the knits from Barbour this year too; but you’ll have to be quick as they’re selling quickly! A chunky knit in a natural, neutral colour is always a good idea.

Another pair of Church’s – this suede lace up pair have been on Charlie’s Wishlist for a while, and would be the perfect gift for any chaps with a similar style to his, or finally for a touch of luxury and cosines, this Tom Ford Cashmere hat is a fabulous piece to unbox on Christmas Day!

Have you sorted all of your Christmas shopping yet? xoxo
