It seems this year I’ve gone ooh la la over the OTKs. Isn’t it incredible how over-the-knee boots can add instant va-va-voom to an outfit? The outfit that I threw together for an afternoon picking up trinkets in the sale from Covent Garden market is comfortable and minimal (sunglasses, cosy knit and a denim mini) but it’s made instantly statement-worthy when paired with the right pair of OTK boots. Now, if you watched this video, or even have just been keeping tabs of my #ootds, you’ll know that I’m just a little obsessed with OTKs and have one pair too many in my collection (I had to add another shelf onto my shoe wall to fit them all in!). But, investing in staple shoes like OTKs do so much more than create on-trend looks, they elevate your outfit, they make an outfit. I’m also majorly crushing on this gorgeous soft grey knit from Boden – with cropped sleeves and the kind of neckline that makes you want to snuggle up by a crackling fire. A denim mini completes the look, alongside my Marble Tote as a little throwback to my summer looks (hands up if you remember this little beauty!).
