There are two things which are always in fashion each Autumn / Winter ; Leather, and Parties! And these happen to be two of my favourite things. Payday is here (FINALLY!) so I’ve given in to the days of window shopping and put together my wishlist for the Ultimate Party Outfit which I will be rocking to the next few events. Each of the items are great for mixing and matching, and so i’ll be able to get away with loads of looks with just a few key pieces!
Every capsule party wardrobe should contain a pair of black court shoes, and the Dunaway pair by DUO are not only fabulously leg lengething, but super comfy thanks to the hidden platform. Wear with black tights or bare legs and keep it edgy by teaming with this slim fitting, high waisted pencil skirt from All Saints. The panelled pencil skirt is half calf hair and half italian lambskin so keep the top simple. Choose from neutral coloured silks or my favourite colour this season; navy. I’ve chosen the Eden Silk Trim Tank from Reiss; it’s stylish, yet relaxed, and won’t distract from the bottom half of the outfit!
To finish, I’ll be accessorising with a simple pendant necklace such as the Siren Bezel Pendant from Monica Vinader – the touch of gold will highlight the gold detail on the shoes, and a cluster of rings. I’d mix my usual stacking rings with an array of super cute initialed midi rings from Topshop.
While the days may still be warm, it’s nippy in the evenings, so I’ll be snuggling up in this Wool Blend Biker Jacket from McQ Alexander McQueen.
Ok… I won’t be. But a girl can dream, right?!
