I’ve been discovering some fantastic new products over the past couple of weeks, ones which are now firmly positioned into my daily routine! With the heating being switched on at work, my hair and skin have needed some extra attention to keep them looking healthy and the products I’ve been reaching for include a Replenishing Oat conditioning Treatment from Weleda, and Brilliantine from Bumble and Bumble for my hair, while my face has been treated to the Darphin Revitalizing oil and also Dark Circles eye cream from the Super Facialist range By Una Brennan.
I leave the Oat Replenishing Treatment by Weleda on my hair for up to 10 minutes – the deep conditioning treatment smooths out any rough ends and hydrates my hair immediately. My hair becomes much easier to brush through and it looks and feels nourished. The key ingredients include Shea Butter, Organic Oat, Jojoba and Coconut oils but even though the formula is rich, my hair still feels light and soft. After roughly blow drying my hair, I apply the Bumble & Bumble Brilliantine créme which leaves my hair looking polished but still natural looking. It smooths away any flyaway hairs and works well on my thick locks – giving separation and even more moisture.
If you joined me on the Darphin / Look Fantastic hangout last week, you’ll have heard all about my love for the Darphin Revitalizing oil – now my favourite part of my daily routine, you inhale the aroma of the oil after warming it in your hands which is instantly soothing and calming… I then pat it onto my skin before my evening moisturiser, and i’ve been waking up to a fresher glowing complexion as well as getting a better night’s sleep since using the oil.
To achieve this healthy glow in my eye area, i’ve been reaching for the high-potency Vitamin C dark circle cream from Una Brennan which contains stimulating Caffeine to reduce dark circles and also reduce the appearance of fine lines. After just a week or so of using, my eye area looks brighter and firmer in appearance. It’s £12.99 (from Boots, here) for this little tube but you hardly need any at all, a third of a grain of rice seems like plenty for each eye, and I use it day and night.
150ml of the Weleda Oat Treatment is £11.50 from .
Brilliantine is £19.50, also from .
