LFW Days 1 & 2 // Photo Diary

Every season I tell myself that ‘next fashion week I’ll be more organised’. I see bloggers stressing on Twitter that they don’t have their LFW outfits sorted, 10 days before it kicks off… and yet I still manage to leave it to the morning of the shows to pick out mine! I tend to go on a binge shop before Fashion Week season, and then pray that i’ll be able to pull together a few half decent looks! My first day of LFW, Friday, was a tiring one as I landed back from NYC at 9am, and was backstage at Felder Felder by 12!

Schwarzkoft created the models tousled, sexy looks; paying incredible attention to detail, even to the extent of creating individually dyed fringes to perfectly match the girl’s hair. Nails were by Nailberry, and Zoeva created the makeup looks for their first London Fashion Week makeup sponsorship.
Ooh and I got a sneak peak at the pretty new pink brush set!

I’ll do a post on my outfit, but here’s a sneak preview of what I wore for day 1!

Luckily there are a few havens of calm and relaxation dotted about the city; Hayley and I headed first to the Office x Vans lounge (top image) in the ME hotel where we were able to catch a glimpse of the new collection; my feet felt instantly more comfortable just looking at them!

Then, we headed to the Ugg lounge and collapsed onto the sumptuous fur throws, enjoyed Wheatgrass and Aloe Vera shots and caught up on some Instagramming before the Ugg Blogger Party  began! As mentioned in my This Week I’ve Been … post I was able to enjoy some lovely pampering at the event, and even took away a Fashion Mumblr balloon! See the beautiful Spring collection from Ugg here!

Day two began with some much needed pampering! I was invited to have a NailsINC manicure at Selfridges, and I chose this delicate lilac shade from their new The New White collection; the super speedy manicure was complete in just over 15 minutes!

My eyes were touched up (ok, majorly redone) by Charlotte Tilbury also in Selfridges, using the Sophisticate palette and their Brow Lift pencil.
Next stop, Blo in Covent Garden where I was treated to a fabulous Blow Dry by Rosie, who created a subtle flick to add even more glamour to my look!
I then hopped in a taxi to Somerset House just in time for Holly Fulton. Marching to Gwen Stefani’s Rich Girl, the collection shamelessly flaunted sparkling crystals, elaborate patterns and glimmering bling over everything. The transparent blouses with prim pencil skirts created a glamorous look, made casual with Mongolian fur coats and lingerie inspired slip dresses.
Jen (Beauty Junkie London) bought her adorable dog Monty to Somerset house for some puppy pampering! We did some street style snapping before retreating back the the ME hotel for some free wifi and phone charging!
Two busy, but fabulous days!
Keep up to date with my LFW going’s on via my Instagram and Twitter!
