First Look of Spring

London rejoiced this last weekend as we had our first few days of solid sunshine! The knitwear was cast aside in favour of floral prints, and boots were swapped for delicate sandals. I adore florals and pastels, and I much prefer my Summer wardrobe to my Winter one, so this weekend was a very exciting one for me as it means I can get away with wearing some of my favourite pieces, oh, and shop for some new ones!

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably recognise this outfit! Last week I was a part of the Dorothy Perkins #StyleHeroes campaign where a few bloggers were invited to style some of the brands new pieces before a style-off competition launched on the Official_DorothyPerkins instagram!  I asked you guys to head over to their page to vote for your favourite look; and I must admit the competition was tough! The beautiful bloggers, Eileen from Eileen Cuisine and Sophie of Fashion Slave put together some seriously fab looks but thanks to those of you who voted, my outfit won!
The crop trousers are a lovely light fabric with a bow on the waist and tailored loose fit; the ideal Spring transitional piece. I teamed them with a pastel pink mini grab tote bag also from Dorothy Perkins which has two sections, separated by a zippy compartment, and is just big enough for my daily essentials!
The rest of my outfit includes a white silk T-shirt from Reiss ( one of those Spring Summer pieces that I just get so much use out of! ) – and my new . The coat is quite light so at the moment while it’s chilly I need to layer up underneath it, but it styles beautifully and I love how you can casually tie the waist belt without having to do the coat up properly.
The finer details include these pearly drop earrings from as well as some cute pink sunglasses from . My new favourite piece of jewellery is this stunning bracelet from La Corza. It’s created from the honeycomb of a cactus plant using modern and traditional casting techniques; hand craftsmanship and 3D printing technology created this incredible, unique design. You might have also spotted the fabulous Rose Gold ring from La Corza which I’ve worn in a few Instagram posts recently!
One of my recent purchases which I am really loving is this pair of. They have a low heel and an ankle strap making them surprisingly comfortable. Plus, the metallic silver seems to go with everything! I love dressing up jeans with them and I even wore them on my flight to Austin! (Also, what a great dupe for theseones!!)
It feels great to finally be bringing out the florals and the silks, so hopefully there will be a lot more outfit posts coming up!
Have you ventured into your Spring wardrobe yet?
