Accessories that Matter

One of my latest ventures has been finding some high-quality accessories that truly matter.

What makes an accessory matter? For me it’s the pieces that I consistently reach for from week to week, the pieces that I genuinely love. We’re not talking that statement dress that looked fabulous and had all your friends talking at Ascot last year, I mean those staples that you adore on a weekly basis. You already know my love for this Rebecca Minkoff Marble tote, it’s well documented on the blog, but something else I’ve been appreciating lately is some timeless jewellery. I’ve chosen a select few pieces which are elegant, timeless but still chic. I discovered Diamonfire, whose collection of Diamonfire Zirconia stones are precisely cut and shine brilliantly just like real diamonds, but without the hefty price tag. I styled my accessories (isn’t is usually the other way round!) with my favourite springtime colour; a pop of coral. This coral wrap kimono from is a new favourite addition to my wardrobe, I adore the colour and the shape and fit is so flattering, and it looks as fabulous during cocktail hour as it does during the commute! I think it looks fabulous paired with white skinny jeans, and my most reached-for pair are these from . My complete this look – elegant and girly but also practical, the mid heel is ideal for running errands in the day and then a touch of glamour for the evening. 

The final details include my new chronograph detail watch which adds another pastel shade to this look, as well as my sunglasses – a sunny day essential!
