Now that Summer is drawing to a close, I definitely am in need of something a little bit special to give me a kick of motivation to keep up my gym routine! Motivation in the form of new gym gear is without doubt the best way to keep me heading down to the gym, and I’ve recently become rather smitten with the beautiful new Active range from Dorothy Perkins.
Functional and fashionable, the range features beautiful flattering patterns in high performance activewear; with details such as reflective taping, breathable airtex fabrics and an incredible comfortable fit, it’s hard to believe that most products retail for around the £20 mark!
My favourite combination is geometric print colourful vest top paired with a classic pair of black capri leggings, which have a hint of pink detailing on the hem as well as reflective strips. This fabulous pink fluoro jacket is just what I need for both safety and comfort when jogging on the common, especially as the nights draw in!
And my new workout clobber doesn’t just look good, but it functions perfectly too! Whether I’m walking the dog or sweating it out in the gym, I can pick and choose from the #DPActive range finding the perfect workout wear look for the occasion. In the gym, I chose to go for the black performance vest – it’s breathable mesh inserts meant I kept cool even after an intense spin class, and the colourful active print sports bra is just visible, perfectly matching my leggings.
