Valentines day has totally crept up on me this year, January went by in a flash and now suddenly the stores are filled with all things pink and pretty – so naturally, I am overjoyed. I love seeing the designs covered in hearts and ‘Kiss Me Quick’ slogans, and the Valentines themed gifts, but I prefer to look for pretty pieces which I know I’ll wear throughout the rest of the year too.

Recently I realised I have a bit of a Pyjama obsession. I revealed in a recent YouTube video that I’d spent *insert crazy amount here that I can’t bring myself to type* on a pair of silk Olivia Von Halle silk pyjamas, the ones I’m wearing in this imagery, and to make matters worse, they’re my second pair of Pyjamas from the brand. But, I justified to myself, we spend half our lives in bed, so why not invest in something a little more luxurious?

To many people, Valentines day bedroom attire may be something a little more raunchy, but that’s not really my style, so instead I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite luxurious and sexy pieces, that still ooze style, femininity and timeless elegance. With a mix of price points, I’ve been really impressed with the light pink robe and pyjama selection from River Island recently, while Topshop have some beautiful silky blush playsuits too.
