The London Fashion Week Festival
The London Fashion Week Festival was held last week, as the official LFW drew to a close, to bring the trends and designer styles to those of us who dind’t want to miss out on the fun and fabulousness of fashion week, but weren’t quite lucky enough to get that illusive front row ticket to the trend catwalks! Taking over the huge 180 Strand premises, brands and designers were showing off their latest collections and gave us a sneak peak into the upcoming trends for the Spring Summer season. Over 150 designer brands showed off their latest collections in the ‘designer showrooms’ – many of which were available to buy there and then at hugely discounted prices (some of my favourites included Missoma, Rixo, Astrid & Miyu, Olivia Burton and many more) and often the designers were there to talk through their newest collections – the perfect opportunity to mingle!
As well as the shopping and the catwalk shows, there was the opportunity to be pampered by the hair and nail stations, discover some new culinary delights, or pick up a cocktail or mocktail for a refreshing drink between the shows. I was invited down to the festival by Teisseire; the No 1 syrup brand in France (you’ll probably recognise the iconic silver & green bottles – see below!) to check out their fabulous cocktail bar, so I based myself there and ensured that I tested out all of the various refreshing concoctions they were offering on the day!

The Teisseire Cocktail Bar
I’d been trying out Teisseire at home for the past couple of weeks, but just simply adding it to my water to add a bit more excitement to my hydration habits with their 0% range (no sugar!) but at the #LFWF festival, a variety of cocktails and mocktails were created by the expert barmen (and the mocktails were free!) and now I can’t wait to create my own cocktails at home! The bespoke drinks menu included ‘Raspberry Runway’ – probably my favourite – which was a fruity and delicious take on the traditional G&T, with a dash of the Raspberry & Cranberry flavour added.
