There’s a 100% chance that your Instagram feed has been full of snaps taken outside The Ivy Chelsea Garden lately, and for good reason! This spectacular, fun and colourful display has to be my favourite festive spot this year, so naturally I couldn’t resist paying a visit. Located on Kings Road, Chelsea, the restaurant is the perfect place to get dressed up in a glamorous #ootd and meet friends and family for some festive feasting, I opted for a ‘snow queen’-esque colour palette with this icey pink dress with matching pale pink boots, and a metallic bag – my favourite Chloe Nile Bracelet Bag. The dress is an elegant length, and the elasticated waistband makes it perfect for wearing on those occasions when you are wanting to over indulge, while still maintaining a flattering silhouette.
I chose a new white wrap coat to bundle up in for our afternoon exploring the shops after our lunch at The Ivy; white coats have become my newest winter wardrobe obsession and I love to complete the look with my faux fur headband for a cosy and chic finish. I’ll be wearing this outfit on boxing day too; it’s a perfect combination of smart and stylish, as well as comfortable and practical – so perfect for our morning walk followed by another delicious meal.
A white coat may not seem like the most practical option, but I’ve been wearing this one and my long white Reiss coat none stop lately, and both are easier to keep clean than you’d imagine – my top tip would be to keep a lint roller close by, to whisk away any hairs or anything else to maintain the pristine white fabric.
