It’s time to get excited about Autumn!
Hi darlings, as we approach the end of August, I thought I’d share a few of my favourite pre-Autumn pieces that I’ve found on NET-A-PORTER lately. Although we are expecting temperatures up to 33 degrees this August bank holiday weekend, which I’m absolutely NOT complaining about, I’m also0 getting excited for chillier days where we can start thinking about berry tones and layering!
The first pieces I spotted were these chunky roll neck knits. There’s a cream one as well as a more beige toned one, both perfect for layering and as they’re neutrals they’ll go with everything. With proper care knitwear can last for years so definitely something I don’t mind investing in, plus they’d both look great popped with this baroque midi skirt which is a complete showstopper item. You could also potentially go all cream toned with the cream knit and cream midi skirt – so chic and very Autumn appropriate.
I spotted this boho style mini dress and thought it would pair amazingly with these berry toned knee high boots for a cosy look, perhaps with a shearling jacket popped over the top.
A couple more dresses that were too good to pass up on – this gorgeous brown midi with the puff sleeve detail which is set to be huge this season. I’d pair this with some camel ankle boots and a long coat for a real warm feel. I also love this lighter dress, again with puff sleeves – the colours make it suitable for wearing while it’s still a bit warmer too and could be paired with pinks and blues come Spring again so it’s something you could wear time and time again.
