Is the UK Summer finally here?! – A Luxury Payday Wishlist
This post comes to you from my outdoor office; sitting here in a summer dress, perusing the New In section on NET-A-PORTER and my lust list is the longest I think it’s ever been! With so many beautiful lightweight materials in pastel designs that I can’t resist, there are plenty of pieces I’ve got my eye on this Payday!
Of course we have to start with some beautiful pink pieces, this flirty and feminine short pink dress (1) is a lovely elegant piece, I would say it’s perfect for a relaxed wedding, but who knows if we will be allowed those any time soon!? Equally fabulous for picnics with friends, and lunches in the garden, it’s a classic silhouette which we can wear during lockdown and beyond. A pink midi skirt (2) is something which can perfectly transition our wardrobes from Summer to Autumn, I can imagine pairing this with a gorgeous lace crop top now, and then with a white, soft cashmere roll neck when the temperatures start to drop. Thirdly, this pink wrap blouse (6) is perfect for heatwave days; I’d wear over a white strappy dress, or even over a swimsuit to add a little extra coverage.
A co-ord is always a fun outfit to reach for, and even better when the pieces such as this lovely crop top (3) and trousers (4) can be worn separately too. I’d wear the trousers with a white linen blouse, and perhaps my ‘old’ Zimmerman shorts with the crop top, for a day at the beach, or at the park with girlfriends.
Of course, hydration is key! I carry my Larq water bottle (5) with me everywhere, and this pink shade is my absolute favourite. It uses LED light to actually clean the water too, so if you don’t have access to a filter, no panic!

The easiest outfits, always, are ones where you don’t even need to make a decision if two pieces ‘go’ together; so dresses and jumpsuits are always a winner in my wardrobe! Two totally different pieces, but this natural toned jumpsuit (7) is a minimalists dream – I’d pair with a basket bag (of COURSE!) and castañer wedges to complete the look, while this fit and flare dress (8) is a girly masterpiece – the type of thing you’d invest in, wear all summer, and cherish for years to come.
Finally, investing in skincare is NEVER a bad idea; and a few foolproof pieces for a glowing complexion include maintaining a natural glow thanks to the Tan Luxe sleep oil (10) (it smells heavenly!) – which develops into a beautiful sun kissed tone while you sleep, and a top up with the La Mer bronzer (9) (DREAMY) with a hint of shimmer for those high points on the complexion after your daily makeup application. Adding a Gua-Sha (11) massage to your skincare routine can help revitalise your natural glow, and bring a bounce into your complexion, try applying a facial oil and watching a massage tutorial; it’s a wonderful routine to get into in the evenings, and your skin will love you for it!
