Accessorising for Autumn

How I’m Accessorising for Autumn

Autumn fashions are quite possibly my favourite; as the temperatures drop, we add interest and texture to our looks, playing with layers and tones that have been off limits for the past few months. I’ve written posts in the past about maintaining your personal style throughout the seasons, and as well as sticking to your favourite silhouettes (such as dresses with ruffles!) as the temperatures change, switching up your accessories is a great way to nod to the new season.

Cardigans, felt hats and boots are instant ways of making an outfit more autumnal, but also your jewellery choices can really finish off a look. No matter the season, classic gold pieces will look timeless and elegant, and MISSOMA are the go to brand for pieces that always look perfectly on trend.

For my autumnal outfit of the day, I opted for a in a midi length; perfect for wearing with boots and even thermal tights if the temperatures plummet, or equally beautiful with Castañer wedges on warmer days. I layered up with this beautiful (I adore the pearl buttons!) and created a silhouette with this. A is not only stylish and practical for taming bad hair days – but also keeps the head warm – oh I love and piece that’s both pretty and practical!
