Who doesn’t love a little lace beauty?
What I love about lace is that it looks fabulously elegant and timeless in all shapes, sizes and silhouettes. This gorgeous floral lace jumper is the most perfect transitional piece that will effortlessly take your wardrobe from the cooler months into Spring and Summer. The knitted back and long sheer sleeves give warmth and coverage, and it’s loose fit gives it that effortless Spring flair. The top is statement enough to wear with a pair of great fitting jeans and simple accessories; but for my afternoon tea at The Ivy I dressed it up with my favourite leather leggings, and Valentino heels.
A perfectly placed luxurious accessory can finish of an outfit in a fabulous fashion. My Valentino Rockstud heels were a real treat, to celebrate my graduation a few years ago. I opted for a neutral shade that would go with not only my multi-coloured DVF graduation dress, but many many more outfits to come. The nude patent and gold studs are timeless, and a current favourite combination is with these leather leggings from Zara, a season or two ago.
I wanted to invest in a new bag too, but a designer one was just out of my price point, so I opted for premium highstreet instead. This beauty from Reiss was the perfect option – with beautiful design details that you’d expect from a designer bag, but without the hefty price tag. In a buttery soft truffle coloured leather it’s another transitional, classic piece that works just as well with this elegant girly combination as it does with a more casual weekend look.
Finally, my new rose gold cat-eye sunglasses. A fine example of an impulse purchase that has worked it’s way into my daily wardrobe. I purchased one day while flying between meetings, purely because I’d left my pair at home, and since that day they’ve been practically glued to me!
