It’s that wonderful time of year…
… That we start to see lots of wonderful occasions popping up into our diaries; whether it’s a family lunch, a garden party, wedding or Christening, it’s a great feeling when you can open up your wardrobe and pull out a tried and tested dress which always looks fabulous. This year, earlier than expected, I’ve already found ‘the one’. That one dress that is elegant, sophisticated, girly, and comfortable! It’s a demure length that makes it perfect for family occasions, a relaxed linen material and yet a smart silhouette, truly a versatile piece.
From this dress has a premium price tag, but thanks to it’s versatility, I know I’ll get tons of wear out of it for both smart and casual events alike. I’ve styled with both flats and heels in these pictures (I’m so indecisive, had to shoot both!) and these are perfect for more relaxed occasions or times when you’ll be on your feet all afternoon. If you want to add a smarter touch, the pearl detail on the is a lovely detail and they’re super comfy but give the height boost that I often need! A small bag is ideal for this look so as not to distract from the dress, and this mini beauty from Polene is a current favourite; as long as I don’t need lots of things with me!
