A sophisticated neutral, an easy to wear loungewear shade, it’s no grey area that the muted silver shade is the official shade to be seen in this season. After the guffaw of 50 Shades of Grey last year, I’m now taking it literally and have created an outfit post of purely grey themed editorial. Covet away.

For a fuss-free dressed down look, opt for the wool & cashmere sweater by Mason, and upgrade the off-duty look with leather leggings and muted grey nails. Over a neutral composition, envelope yourself in the cosiest cashmere with Madeleine Thompson’s oversized cashmere wrap, and accentuate the look with the Copacabana gold plated grey cotton necklace and these handmade hematite earrings and gunmetal ring by Pippa Small.

If you can pull off the rock n roll elegance of a hat, do it fabulously with the gross-grain fedora hat by Saint Laurent, and typify the mood of the season with these über wearable leather and felt ankle boots by Chloé. There’s no better way to complete the chic sophisticated look with attitude that the flawless Valentino Rockstud tote; this twill lined trapeze version is the perfect size for your iPad, purse, makeup essentials mobile and keys and looks best when accentuated over a dark outfit.
