I’ve made no secret of my love of shopping, but as the temperature drops, I head to the Harrods Fashion Lab to get my fix from all my favourite brands – without having to brave the cold!
Last night Grazia held a fashion event in the Fashion Lab on the fourth floor, exclusively for their readers – presenting the recently launched mecca for affordable luxury.
Brands in the Fashion Lab include Zadig & Voltaire, Whistles, Burberry and Reiss to name a few, so whether you are hunting for a new monochrome coat, or a chunky knit to see you through the winter, you can snap them all up in the Harrods Fashion Lab!
Guests were given a four digit code, and we then had to try our luck unlocking treats from brands such as Karen Millen, Rag & Bone and Victoria Beckham. Sadly, mine wasn’t the winning combination!
The Grazia fashion team was on hand to offer style advice, and we were also treated to some scrumptious snacks from the Harrods kitchen, as well as Piper Heidsieck Champagne and Hendrick’s Gin and Vodka cocktails as we browsed. Dream shopping experience or what?!
{ One of my favourite treats from the evening was Invo Coconut water – how have I not come across the beautifying and hydrating powers of Coconut before? I’m now converted! }
Each brand offered guests a treat, whether in the form of tasty treats, like Ted Baker macarons or Calvin Klein cupcakes, or a goody bag upon purchase. Juicy Couture even offered free tracksuit personalisation for products purchased on the night:
Each guest was also treated to a voucher for splurges on the evening, as well as a fabulous goody bag!
Grazia and Harrods – you sure know how to spoil us!
At first I refused to take off my hat, but the fabulous folk at Bumble and Bumble assured me that they could cure my hat hair, and they did! Using their fabulous Hair Powder. There was also a Bobbi Brown beauty station for makeovers, as well as a Clinique Beauty Bar.
So thank you Grazia and Harrods for a fabulous evening! I may have come home a few pounds heavier and with a few dents to the bank balance, but it was worth it! And my Winter wardrobe? Sorted!
