Seventeen Phrwoarr Paint – the Budget Bobbi Brown

{ Seventeen Phwoarr Paint – a dupe for Bobbi Brown creamy concealer? }
So I only just realised that Seventeen is the re-brand of ’17’ from Boots that I used to spend all my pocket money on when I was little! *Face Palm!* I am really pleased that the brand has come to my attention again, because they have some seriously fantastic dupe products for the more expensive options out there. This product, the ‘Seventeen Phwoarr Paint – Heavy Duty Concealer’ is remarkably similar to Bobbi Brown’s creamy concealer – it is a relatively thick cream concealer which can be used to cover blemishes, or, if you buy in a lighter shade like I did, it can be used as under-eye concealer and brightener.

The packaging is perfect for popping in your handbag – it’s slim, snaps shut securely, and features a little mirror for on-the-go touch ups. It comes in two shades, fair and medium so not a huge amount of options, but it is very blendable. Both options have a slight orangey tinge which counteracts blue-tones that you want to get rid of in the under eye area.

I usually warm it up a little with my fingers, and apply before my foundation and blend it in. For the first hour after applying, I have to check for creases (does this mean I’m getting wrinkly!) but after it has worn in a little, this isn’t an issue.

This is a really fab product, and would highly recommend if you are conscious of a dark under-eye area and want a little product to pop in your handbag. Plus, at £5.49, you can’t go wrong!
