I’m usually hesitant to splash out on statement jewellery as styles change, and I can’t bear the thought of splurging on an expensive piece, saving it for ‘best’ and then discovering that the style has gone out of fashion. However recently I discovered a luxury jewellery brand whose designs are so beautiful that their style will remain timeless. La Corza jewellery is inspired by nature, with all the pieces custom made and reflecting the natural world.
My favourite piece is the gorgeous Rose Gold Cactus disk ring (which I’m wearing in the image). I usually wear large rings so its size is not a problem for me to wear on a daily basis. Whenever I wear it, no one can resist but to ask where it’s from and it’s just so much more exciting having a story to tell behind the brand rather than just claiming it as a highstreet brand.
For a slightly more subtle way of wearing the cactus design (so called as it’s design is inspired by the honeycomb skeleton of a dried cactus plant) the Rose Vermeil Wide style ring makes an elegant thumb ring or can be stacked with your usual rings.
While the rings make a fabulous entry point into the brand, La Corza also have gorgeous necklace and earring designs.
Of course the jewellery looks fabulous in images (so many of you commented on my Instagram picture featuring the Cactus Disk ring!) but if you’re close by a store then you just have to pop in to try on the styles for yourself, you can find La Corza at the Avant Shop in Fulham, or Nellie Altielier store in Kensington (full retailer list here).
