Happy Easter! Today is a day for over indulging in far too much chocolate, cake, and probably a roast dinner too and most probably at some point over the weekend you’ll have enjoyed a packet (or three) of mini eggs! Their pastel prettiness inspired this post; I decided to gather together some of my favourite pink pieces, and here they are!
The most fabulous of the lot is this Narciso Rodriguez gift set which contains a 75ml hand cream, a mini travel candle and two bottles of the fragrance – perfect for popping in your handbag! The fragrance itself is musky and seductive with amber notes at the heart and warm alluring Gardenia and Bulgarian Rose which give it a beautiful feminine note. It’s styling within the box make it a perfect gift.
A few of my favourite brushes naturally are the pink ones, firstly a few from the Teddy Bear Hair Professional Brush Set from Too Faced. The set contains five gorgeous pink and gold brushes all of which are super soft, created fro the Teddy Bear Hair which has the same silky smooth feel of animal hair without any cruelty. The Rose Gold Tapered Blush Brush from the Real Techniques Bold Metals collection is another shallow obsession of mine because it’s seriously pretty! But also works like a dream, the tip highlights and sculpts and the super soft bristles feel so luxurious to use. The girls engineered the brushes to ensure the perfect weight distribution – when you use the brush you really enjoy the experience, the whole range is unlike anything I’ve used before.
At a recent blogger morning with New Look, I picked up this beautiful Rose Gold and Pink Ridge Trimmed Sports Watch. I never purchased a ‘chunky’ watch before as I have quite slim wrists, and this one looks ten times more expensive that it really is (it’s less than £20!!), plus the face of the watch has beautiful diamante detail over the pink pearlescent style face.
I picked up the EOS lip balm in Texas, because I just thought it was so cute! I’m not entirely sure how practical the round shape of the balm is, but it’s fun and adorable so…. I have no other reasons! Equally pretty is the tin of . The moisturiser is presented in a beautiful floral tin and provides long-lasting hydration for the face and also dissolving excess oil to give you clean and fresh feeling skip. The product is infused with a shot of steam which creates a light emulsion which deeply penetrates skin – it’s so gentle that its perfect on all skin types – this freshly handmade moisturiser is something that you really need to try to understand how special it is.
Finally, I couldn’t do a pink post without featuring my absolute favourite blush – the . I picked it up on a massive Sephora Haul and it’s appeared on the blog multiple times since then, so I won’t go into a full review – but i’ll just say, buy it. It’s so beautiful – I did wonder if spending this amount on a blusher would really pay off, but it’s one investment piece that I’ve never regretted buying.
