Nestled beneath the looming Arenal Volcano in the La Fortuna region of Costa Rica, day two of our adventures as Piz Buin Sun Ambassadors lead us to the Rainforest Chocolate Tour. A family run cocoa plantation, we discovered the ancient secrets of the journey from cocoa bean to chocolate bar while exploring the tropical plantation. Join me on the tour of the plantation over on my Vlog of the trip, and here’s what I wore!
I pre-planned most of my outfits when packing for the trip, but of course all outfit set ups went out the window when I was deciding what to wear each day. On this particular day we’d be heading to the coast on a three and a half hour journey after visiting the plantation which absolutely impacted my outfit choice! I built the look around my , the high waisted design is leg lengthening and flattering yet still practical for exploring the plantation. Equally as chic and practical is this which became an absolute staple for the entire trip.
The key to most of my holiday looks was mixing up key pieces; a few statement garments are thrown together with neutral staples which I could mix and match over the days that we explored the country. My metallic sandals were my best buy; an absolute steal from Topshop and easily my most worn piece over the entire trip. Sunglasses and my trusty rucksack completed the look for a relaxed, comfortable yet chic look!
