A Festive Get Ready With Me
During the festive party season, we all want our skin to be looking it’s absolute best. There’s nothing worse than having a bad skin day, so ensuring your skincare routine is working for you is so important during this time of year – especially when the elements outside can be battling in the opposite direction!
I like to begin my skincare routine the night before, ensuring my skin is hydrated and cleansed before treating myself to some intense moisture to guarantee a glowing completion the following morning. A thorough cleanse ensures my skin will be clear and able to absorb the goodness from my evening products, so I’ve been double cleansing beginning as always with a Micellar water. The Eucerin Micellar Water has been the one I’ve been reaching for over the past few weeks, it’s a three in one which removes even the toughest eye makeup while still being gentle on skin, and is effective on sensitive skins too – so even if your complexion is a little tender from the cold outside or dried out from the heating, it will be effective and gentle too.
For my body, the Eucerin body and shower oil not only cleanses, but ensures my skin’s moisture levels are where they should be, thanks to the Omega Oils within the gentle formula. Afterwards, I focus on the drier areas of skin with the replenishing cream, which gives long lasting moisture to knees, elbows and other areas which historically would need extra attention at this time of year. When I’m visiting friends and family over the festive season, I always ensure I pack this in my overnight bag, so I can replenish the skin after a blissful hot shower.

Moisturisation around the eyes is particularly important, all year round but especially during the party season when late nights and alcohol play havoc with our skin.
