I’ve always adored jewels, and anything that sparkles. From a little girl trying on mum’s jewellery and pretending that I was getting dressed up to some fancy occasion, to ‘adorning’ my school uniform with diamanté encrusted accessories! Jewellery was always my way of personalising an outfit, taking something like a uniform and making it totally my own, and even now jewellery is my way of further showcasing my style on what can be a very plain outfit.

Although I do adore a statement piece to finish off a look, I am more of a classic jewellery lover for my day to day outfits, and as a fashion blogger no look feels complete unless I have a ring, necklace, and selection of bracelets on! Oh, and a pop of lipstick of course…

Astrid & Miyu is a brand that I’ve been reaching for on a daily basis for over 6 months now, since I first discovered them in early Spring. You’ve no doubt seen my wearing the or perhaps the with my low cut knitwear pieces! For me, their pieces and especially their delicate rose gold styles are a simple way to elevate an outfit; price wise I’d say they fit within the ‘premium’ category – a little more than highstreet pieces, but still affordable enough to pick up a few key pieces! The styles are timeless, elegant and the kind of pieces you want to wear with every outfit – whether it’s a day time look or an evening ensemble!
