My Autumn Winter Fashion Wishlist

A new season means a new wishlist, a selection of investment pieces that I’m lusting over for the upcoming season. These premium and designer pieces are total treats, the pieces that I hope to wear time and time again – and confession time – I’ve already purchased three of them!

The first is this . It’s no secret that animal print is one of the biggest, and arguably most wearable trends for AW18 (you’ll know this if you watched my trend video here!). It’s a real investment piece, but if I wear this even a fraction of how much I wore my suede skirt from Reiss last year, I’ll be happy. It’s neutral tones means it works with lots of outfits (see one of them in my NYC outfit diaries here) yet still makes a statement when worn with a simple tee. It’s a beautifully crafted, flattering A line shape, and works for both day and night.

A is a beautiful investment for when the temperature drops, and this gorgeous design from NET-A-PORTER is actually surprisingly affordable for the premium retailer. Made in Italy and 100% wool, it’s beautiful quality, warm and cut to a relaxed fit making it wonderfully versatile. I find the tie waist to be perfect for an informal yet polished look, making it work well with a dressed down jeans and tee outfit, as well as a dressy gown.

Number 3 is another investment piece from in the most wearable autumnal rusty brown colour. A smart piece for a transitional wardrobe, taking you from warm late summer days with a pretty blouse, to cooler Autumn afternoons with a white chunky knit. I purchased a similar pair in white last year and got tons of use from them, and it’s a nice excuse to keep the legs out during the change in seasons!

A pair of leather trousers in a tan shade has been on my wishlist for a couple of years, and has me seriously tempted. Worn with a lightweight knit or layered with a coat or gilet, even this ‘highstreet’ pair has the ability to instantly update an outfit for the upcoming season. If budget allows, and you fancy a slimmer fit, this flattering pair of leather fitted trousers from would be a dreamy alternative option!

Since laying eyes upon in Selfridges, it’s been at the top of my Autumn wishlist. Perfectly suiting the Western trend we are seeing this season, it’s a garment that I’d pair with my Chloe Suzannah boots or OTK boots when the temperatures drop. A fringed jacket would seriously add retro western vibes to the look, or a faux fur gilet would be the perfect way to accessorise for extra warmth.

Ok, Ok I couldn’t resist purchasing the already!!! It’s just so perfect. It works with EVERY outfit for the Autumn season, can be worn cross body or with a shorter strap to make it more of a clutch, and I absolutely predict this bag will be seen all over your instagram soon, and will rocket to the cult status of the Drew and the Faye bags before we know it! I chose this soft grey shade, as I don’t have any designer bag in this colour way in my collection, and already I’m so pleased with how it completes every look. Check my ‘Five Autumn Outfits’ lookbook to see a few ways that I styled it.

Ooh la la, these are seriously lust worthy! They make a statement but aren’t too OTT. Cowboy boots of course work with the Western trend, but their comfort and versatility make them practical and perfect for years to come. Fendi have lots of pairs on offer this season, but this deep brown logo embossed pair are my absolute favourites!

Finally, some always completes the look and anything with a shell detail is absolutely top of the trend charts this season. I’m keeping an eye out for a ‘locally crafted’ but pretty piece on my travels, but for now this lovely design is what I’m lusting over!

What are you lusting over for Spring? xoxo
