A Perfect Sunday #OOTD
I always feel that Mothering Sunday is the weekend that Spring truly arrives, and each year, the family gathering marks the perfect occasion to pull together an elegant, stylish and sophisticated #ootd. This year, while the temperatures are a little chilly but the skies are blue, I’ll be mixing pastels and warm fabrics such as wools and cashmeres with this outfit.
This look is about a soft, light pastel base, with feminine details such as these Nicholas Kirkwood mules with the stunning pearl hidden under the heel (which you can currently bag with 15% off in the NET-A-PORTER sale!) and this highly embellished trunk bag from Aspinal, both make for wonderful talking points!
When I’m with family, I can let my super girly side show through even more than usual, so these pink sunglasses, new from Aspinal, as well as a pearl hair clip are the perfect way to complete the look.
Although the sun will be shining this weekend, there’s still a chill in the air, so while we are enjoying our G&Ts in the garden on Sunday, i’ll need to ensure I’ve got some warm layers on!
