Getting the REVOLVE Look For Less
Ok, Ok, after seeing an IG feed full of cute ditzy floral dresses at Coachella, you could be forgiven for feeling like you NEED to go ahead and spend a fortune on the huge American retailer’s website in order to look on trend this Summer, however I can’t help but often feel disappointed and downright flabbergasted at the prices of the (fairly low quality) items on the Revolve website. The designs are cute, yes, but ASOS design has some beautiful alternatives, equally as cute, and a fraction of the price, so for a fun edit today I wanted to share 10 outfits that have that Revolve look, but for a fraction of the price.
For me, the ‘Revolve’ look is often touching, smocking, floral prints and frills – many of the design details which I adore. I’ve treated myself to dresses and outfits from their brands including Majorelle, Tularosa and Lovers and Friends in the past, and yes the outfits are adorable, they look GREAT in pictures, but for the price (we are talking £200 +) – the quality is seriously lacking. I can spend this amount on a dress from Reiss, or Ted Baker and the quality is incompatible, and similar items can be picked up on ASOS for less than a 1/4 of the Revolve prices.
Starting at £28, the ASOS design outfits are far more affordable, and the quality in my opinion is often BETTER than the Revolve outfits. If you’re looking for a cute playsuit for your summer holiday and beyond, look no further. Their current edit of ” pieces has plenty of lust-worthy designs, and so on trend for Summer 2019.
What do you think of Revolve’s prices vs their quality? Have you shopped ASOS design before?
