How To Dress to Impress This Party Season

Tis the Season… to dress to impress!

Its the season to be stylish, but for many, Christmas parties pose a style dilemma! Whether it’s the annual work do, or festive drinks with friends, or possibly even Christmas Day – what’s a girl to wear!? Looking stylish but still festive is a balancing act on a fine, but glittering line, I often recommend keeping the sequins and novelty knits limited, and instead, opt for pieces which are an extension of your personal style.

Yes, a little black dress will always look great, simple and effective, but what I truly adore is the little white dress. Equally as chic, you can opt for asymmetric, strapless, mini or midi, or look for special details which show off your own style personality. I will be opting for this delicate white number from Ted Baker, complete with beautiful floral detail around the waist and neckline, and the most perfect fit and flare silhouette.

I love to have some fun with my accessories during the party season, and these pink high heels with the bow detail are just beautiful – to dance the night away in, or to discover under the Christmas Tree.

As much as I adore a tiny clutch bag, there’s just something assuring about having all of your essentials with you for the festive party season; your phone, makeup, camera, purse etc etc, and all of my essentials fit neatly inside this beautiful bow bag which perfectly matches my shoes! The saffiano leather is hard wearing and so I don’t need to be precious with my bag – and the colour and style are versatile enough for me to wear with my daily looks too.

When it comes to choosing your festive party outfits, don’t pick something that you wouldn’t wear at any other time of year. Yes, it’s fun to get playful, perhaps choose textures and colours that are a little out of your comfort zone (a metallic jacquard or velvet smoking suit perhaps?!) but you want to look and feel like yourself, so opt for pieces that make you feel like YOU.

How will you be styling your festive party looks this year? xoxo
