How to Look Chic When It’s Cold // WHAT I WORE THIS WEEK

Chic Borg Layers in NYC

Usually I opt for lighter and brighter neutral tones such as blush pink and white, but this light brown Borg reversible jacket  truly captivated me! It looks like a luxe designer style and yet was under £100 – how much does it look like Max Mara?! I added a luxe but practical finish with my new Prada backpack – so perfect for hands free exploring such as when in tourist mode in NYC – and these warm, comfortable and totally chic boots by Chloe!

Is Brown the new Pink?!

Absolutely not, but there’s something SO wearable about this oat shade! Perfect for layering, this coat is actually not too thick, so I paired over a thermal top and cashmere jumper, as well as statement Gucci tights. I’ve been wearing my white boots and grey belted Bayswater bag on repeat lately; perfect Winter investment pieces! I’m on the lookout for a dupe for this faux fur headband; I picked mine up from River Island last year and it’s perfect for a chic finishing touch to an outfit, as well as keeping your head toasty warm!

Faux Fur & Tulle

Two textures which you wouldn’t usually see together, but the contrast of this striking tulle skirt and the cosy pink knit and faux fur coat is a truly lovely combination. Of course, knee high boots and cashmere socks are essential when wearing a tulle skirt during the chilly months, but with a cosy and stylish knit such as this jumper, you’ll be just fine!
