Valentines day gift guide
Now that the gloomy January is over, it all starts to feel a little lighter, brighter, as the evenings get longer and the first signs of blossom start to appear; and just like that – Valentines day is almost upon us. This year of course will be a little different, we will be celebrating at home, with either home cooked meals or enjoying one of the many restaurant ‘at home experiences’ that have sprung up throughout lockdown – either way, it will certainly be a Valentines like no other. It often feels silly posting a Valentines gift guide on a blog that has a 90% female readership, but let’s face it – we are the ones dropping hints to our other halves, or treating ourselves to a little something, so today I’m sharing an edit of the Valentines gifts on my personal wishlist, and I may or may not be leaving this page open for Charlie’s eyes to ‘accidentally’ fall across!
Silk pyjamas are one of life’s little luxuries, and whether it’s this cute and more, or a luxury set from , we are all certainly spending a lot more time in our PJs during the lockdown times, so it’s something we can enjoy right away.
No Valentine gift guide would be complete without Jewellery, and the pieces I’ve chosen for today’s edit are all from the Vashi collection. Vashi is known for their incredible diamonds, fine jewellery pieces without the huge markup, and the most elegant and timeless designs. I adore the fun heart bracelet (6) as a Valentines gift, or the more timeless rings and earring styles (2,3,8) from the brand’s signature collection. These are the kinds of signature jewellery pieces you can wear every single day, adding an elegant sparkle to a casual outfit, or an eye catching finish to an evening ensemble.
Of course, a pink fashion accessory is not limited to Valentines day, but it’s a perfect excuse to share a few pink pieces on my wishlist! This is a way to instantly brighten your OOTD and I’d be tempted to wear these around the house just to add some fun to my loungewear looks!
In reality, most of the gifts Charlie and I treat ourselves to these days are more ‘home’ type gifts, so this cute Bamford Hot Water Bottle cover (11) with Je’taime scribed on the front, or this would make for wonderful treats to celebrate the romantic holiday.
A pink lip, even if worn with a cosy knit and leggings for Valentines date night (yes, that’s exactly what I’ll be wearing!) is the perfect finishing touch, and this is on my wishlist for the perfect ‘just been kissed’ shade.
Finally, for any new jewels, what a perfect place to keep them safe than in this beautiful box by – the deep pink velvet and tassel make for a statement addition to your dressing room, and it has a protective satin lining for all of your precious jewels.
