Mother of the Bride Outfits for Every Budget

Mother of the Bride outfits for 2023

It’s no secret that our wedding is fast approaching, and while the journey to find my dream wedding dress has been a truly magical one, it’s been a little bit more challenging in fact to find the perfect Mother of the Bride outfit for LL! (If you don’t watch the vlogs you may not know that LL is what I fondly call my mum!) I’m pleased to report that we have officially found ‘The One’ – and during our research we did come across some truly beautiful options, so naturally we wanted to share these with you here on the blog!

If you’re planning to go all out on your Mother of the Bride outfit, I have found some absolutely stunning luxurious options for you. Our favourite place to look has been NET-A-PORTER, and thankfully it’s incredibly easy to return any dresses that aren’t quite right. Be sure to give yourself enough time to allow for alterations and finding the perfect accessories to match. Our of our favourite designers is OSCAR DE LA RENTA as well as REEM ACRA – who have some more traditional silk options, this light pink gown was *almost* the one for LL! The dress would pair beautifully with a Jimmy Choo clutch. Another favourite of mine is this floral Erdem dress, which would look so elegant paired with these Manolo Blahnik slingbacks.

If you’re looking for a fabulous outfit but wince at some of the prices on net-a-porter, retailers such as Ted baker, Coast and Karen Millen are the perfect places to look. They all have such elegant options, such as this wonderful Karen Millen dress and jacket co-ord. Be sure to also check out this stunning Seraphina gown I found on Monsoon! If you want to add that extra flourish to your outfit, Coast have got you covered; they have some great fascinator and hat options.

The highstreet also has some fantastic options for any Mothers of the Bride or Groom out there. This jumpsuit from River Island is incredibly elegant and in my opinion, it looks a lot more expensive than it is! If you’re more into dresses rather than jumpsuits, you could try this floral maxi dress from Monsoon; or this satin halter neck dress from River Island. Shoes wise, Oasis has got you covered with these gold scrappy stilettos which will elongate your legs but aren’t so high that they’ll stop you from dancing!
