Timeless Pieces

One of my latest fashion endeavours has been to seamlessly blend my high end and highstreet pieces in a look that is both classic and on trend.
I find with higher end pieces (I’m talking Whistles level here, not Balmain) they almost always slot easily into my wardrobe, and I can wear them season after season. By investing in some core classic pieces from the more luxurious high street stores, you can add in more on-trend accessories to make your outfit totally Vogue right now! No I’m not talking about that floral dress which you’ll wear once or twice to head out the shops, or that pair of graphic trousers that you’ll get one #OOTD out of. I’m talking about classic pieces that you find yourself adoring on a weekly, monthly and even yearly basis. You know the ones, they make you look and feel great – so you when you wear them  you walk with that extra little spring in your step.
My hunt for some classic pieces usually begins with and . This white silk T-shirt is an everyday go-to piece that also transitions effortlessly from casual professional work-wear, to a beautiful throw-on for brunches with the girls. You can feel the high-quality silkiness and it’s such a timeless design that it’s one that’s been a favourite since I purchased it two Summer’s ago. Don’t worry though, there’s very similar ones available ! The gorgeous shorts are from – for shorties like me the high waist is an absolute must have, and I adore the linen fabric although creasing is a problem! They have a belted waist which you can really pull in to get a super snug fit.
A pair of white stiletto shoes is an everyday staple for spring and summer wear. Not suitable for a day with lots of walking involved perhaps, but these white Zara shoes elongate my little legs and are absolute classics – the neutral style is absolutely swoon-worthy. And under £30. Yep.
Can we also just take a moment to appreciate that I’m wearing a long, sleeveless, tailored coat? Aka all things that petite girls should usually avoid at all costs? Well I broke all the style rules when I first tried on Hayley’s coat from – I fell in love and then it had to be mine. (Not the exact same one obvs, that would be weird!) I feel so chic when I wear the longline camel coat – the lust worthy design looks so expensive and I just know I’ll be wearing this with so many looks, weather with shorts and a sleek T like in this OOTD, or tailored trousers and stacked heels.
Last but absolutely not least, the Radley bag is back! This gorgeous grey Clerkenwell is swiftly becoming my go-to bag, the neutral colour and simple chic design go with absolutely everything, and as always, I’ve teamed with my Pom Pom Poodle!
