For me, Burberry at Christmas is the definition of Luxury.
This year, the is a treasure trove of gold – with products dusted in gold, filled with gold sprinkles, and housed in gold luxe packaging. It shines of high quality – each piece is a luxury classic, as opposed to an innovative trend piece – making it all the more worth the investment.
Each piece has been crafted to ooze the brand’s luxury heritage; combining exquisite detailing with classic beauty functionality. I couldn’t possibly choose just one piece from the collection, so in today’s post, feast your eyes on my top favourites from their latest beauty launch. Whether you’re brand loyal to Burberry or just hope to buy into the brand in a small and more affordable way – this collection is an investment worth making this festive season.
Let’s Begin with Lips
When I think of Burberry, I of course think of a look focused around the classic trench coat in the classic golden cream shade, and a bold red lip. For the festive collection, red lip fans can choose between the Burberry Festive Kisses Lipstick or Lip Gloss, the former of which offers weightless smooth colour, intense from the first application but build able too – and thankfully, it’s also hydrating. With a colour this bold, you don’t want to draw attention to dry lips, but the formula is infused with lavender, tea and rosehip to nourish.
The is also layerable – beautiful on it’s own, and more intense worn over the lipstick. It has a mirror like shine and a tint of colour. For gloss fans, it doesn’t come much better than this.
Available in Nude, Red and Gold Shimmer, Burberry have aced Festive nails. The is a quick drying formula and contains myrrh extract and vitamin B5 to strengthen and moisturise the nails. The timeless shades as well as the iconic red are fail-safe fabulous options this Christmas.
Fans of all things sparkly will adore the . Like a sparkling pot of gold, the gold dust can be applied whenever and wherever you like – catching the light and reflecting onto the skin, the effect is truly mesmerising.
It’s all about the glow this year for Burberry, and my final two favourites create the most beautiful healthy, lit from within glow – the and the cream highlight.
The powder is not for mattifying or setting, but instead the luminising powder has a silky texture milled with light reflecting particles to give you than enviable radiant glow. It is scented with the My Burberry fragrance and should be applied to the areas of the face that naturally catch the sun. It gives a flawless radiance without the feeling of adding another layer to your complexion.
For a truly beautiful, buildable glow, my final favourite is the Gold Touch pearlescent cream highlighter, which can be used on the eyes, lips and cheeks. The micronised pearls within the formula give a smooth and creamy finish which catches the light perfectly. It’s blendable and easy to apply – the perfect festive finishing touch.
