Winter Outfit Building Blocks that Consistently Look Expensive
(but really, they were a bargain)
First – Faux Fur
The easiest way to instantly add a luxe finish to any Winter outfit has to be fur. Of course, of the faux variety – there’s just so much fantastic faux fur available at incredible prices, and it truly does add a touch of glamour to your #ootd. White fur for me is utterly timeless, and I literally did a double take when I saw how affordable this from was. The Luxe It-Bag
Of course, adding a statement designer bag is a fail safe way to make an outfit look more expensive, but if your budget won’t quite stretch to the likes of Gucci, Saint Laurent or Celine, panic not. This beauty from looks oh-so-designer, but at a fraction of the cost. The perfect tan shade and the embellishment detail give it a luxurious look – no one would be able to guess that it’s actually a highstreet find costing less than 10% of that of a designer bag.
The Almost-Gucci Boots
Yep, Gucci boots are still on my wishlist. Heck yes. But – when I spotted this pair from , I immediately fell in love. Something about them just oozes designer luxury, and the blush shade truly elevates a winter look. I will wear them with white denim and even midi skirts and dresses once the temperatures warm up, but for now, they’re perfect for adding a pastel finish to a winter outfit of the day.
