Chelsea In Bloom
It’s that magical time of year again; the streets of Chelsea and the surrounding neighbourhoods are filled with extravagant floral displays, all created by master florists with the aim to surprise and delight passers by. Of course there is the official Chelsea Flower Show but if you don’t fancy forking out for a ticket, there are plenty of incredible floral masterpieces to be seen in the nearby area. On Friday, April and I decided to head to Kings Road with the intention of finding a sunny spot to enjoy a celebratory glass (or jug) of Pimms (we both received very exciting news on Friday, more on that soon!) but instead we became transfixed by the giant floral creations, so couldn’t resist snapping some fashion shots – oh, and shooting a lookbook while we were at it!
For the first look, I wore this beautiful – at first I felt the ruffles were a little OTT, and I resembled a court jester, but upon curling my hair and adding a touch more makeup – I think I just about pulled it off! Now, I kind of love it. If you’ve got any Summer Garden parties or perhaps a day at the tennis or at the races, this really is a beautiful number; and not too expensive either at £80.
The are dupes of my Stuart Weitzman ones. I got them from SheIn which is a retailer that ‘specialises’ in designer dupes – more from them later in this post! The shoes aren’t as comfortable as my SW ones, but they are quite literally one tenth of the price, and they look so blimmin similar it’s quite astounding!
I accessorised with my and this adorable . It’s a brilliant size for all your daily essentials (even my iPad fits, as well as my vlogging camera!) but still looks delicate and feminine and can be worn cross body. Definitely one I’ll be getting a lot of wear from this Summer.

I’ve had this in my wardrobe for around 8 months and yet have never worn it – it feels like a holiday piece yet due to the relatively thick material and the amount of room it takes up, I’ve never packed it in my suitcase for any trips. This spell of heavenly weather in the UK provided the perfect opportunity to debut it – and it worked so perfectly for the posing with the blooms!
I paired once again with my pearl sandals, and also with another dupe; this time a bag in a similar style to the Chloe Faye, but also a discount dream from . It has gorgeous golden floral embellishment all over, and a long gold chain to enable cross body wear – perfect for summer days when you want to be hands free! OH, did I mention it’s only £20?! .
For last minute sunny spells like this, I rely on my for my legs, arms and.. well any body area that’s on display! It’s like tanning makeup for your skin, giving you a flawless colour in just a few moments – no need for body prep!

Oh beautiful Golden Hour! We visited London’s most photographed cake shop; Peggy Porschen during the blissful golden hours, the sun had lost it’s intense heat but the magical lighting was perfect for those all important instagram shots! We treated ourselves to Eton Mess and Red Velvet cupcakes – and I can confirm this place isn’t just a treat for your eyes, these were some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had! I wore my ; this flirty white fit and flare style dress with the floral cut out around the waist, and floral embroidered straps is just such a beauty and one I am so glad I invested in. I wear it with flats as much as I do with heels, and because of the neutral colour I really feel it can be dressed up or down.
In *most* of the shots I am wearing a ; and no – they’re not Chanel although they do look like it! They’re utterly elegant and feature a statement pearl within the heel too, you can see them in more detail in my lookbook video. I also accessorised with this pink handbag from ; its a fabulous size for a day bag and can also be worn with a shoulder strap too.

Seeking shade we discovered some of the Safari styled floral displays; lions, giraffes, rhinos and more can be found on the streets of Chelsea along with tropical blooms and you can’t help but feel that they’ve been designed with Instagram in mind! My final look of the day was this new ; the style may look familiar if you read this post as I also have the top of this design!
It’s one of those dresses you just know you’ll get tons of wear from in the warmer months. It is an entire outfit. Elegant, feminine, the perfect length, cool material, smart and yet also can be made more casual with flats such as the I wear in the shots. I just adore the dress so much, it was an investment piece at over £100, but I just know that for the amount I will wear this over the next few months – it is totally worth it.
