5 Reasons to Love the new ghd Blush launch

You Are Not Defined By Your Hair

It takes something quite remarkable to silence an entire room of beauty bloggers, but that’s exactly what happened when we were told about the nationwide campaign with Little Princess Trust that ghd are launching alongside their ghd blush pink collection. Imagine, as a little girl the struggle of going through cancer, and then losing your hair to chemotherapy – can you imagine anything more heartbreaking? So what on earth is a glossy and glamorous hair styling brand like ghd going to be able to do to help? Well, it turns out, quite a lot.

This year, on the 21st of September to be precise, ghd are promoting ‘chop to your chin day’ – encouraging those of us with long hair to chop to your chin and donate the hair to the Little Princess Trust; a charity that supply real hair wigs, free of charge, to children across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatments and other illnesses. Alongside this, for the thirteenth year, the cult styling brand are supporting breast cancer charities with their pink blush collection, the platinum styler of which is featured in this imagery!

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, dedicated to funding research into the disease which is the most common cancer in the UK, with one in 8 of us being diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. By 2050, Breast Cancer Now want to ensure that no women will die of breast cancer, and they’re working tirelessly toward early diagnosis, prevention and cure. The collaboration with ghd means that you can feel great about treating yourself to a beautiful new styler thanks to the donations; £10 from each purchase of the and roll bag, £10 from the purchase of the , and £2 from the sale of the.

Shop The Range

As well as the two reasons above of the incredible charity collaborations, there are plenty more reasons to upgrade your hair tools to include the new limited edition ghd pink blush collection. Firstly, the colour! We all know that pink is a shade I’ve been obsessed with since, well, forever, but this year has finally been the year that ‘millennial pink’ became an official trend, from interiors, to beauty products and so much more! The gorgeous shade runs through the entire collection with the platinum stylers being my absolute favourite!

We all know how fabulous the products themselves are, but in case you need a refresher, the platinum stylers feature ghd’s patented tai-zone technology which gives smooth and sleek results in just one stroke as well as leaving our hair stronger, healthier and with added shine. The hairdryer gives a reduced frizz, for and silky blow dry in a super speedy dry time, and the paddle brush is every long haired gal’s best friend, detangling the knottiest of locks (trust me, I’ve tested it!) without pulling or generating static.

There are endless styles that can be created with the stylers, from textured waves to luxe hollywood curls. Of course if a straight and sleek style is your favourite, then there’s really no better tool than your ghd platinum stylers!

So, have I given you enough reasons to treat yourself to a new hair tool from the ghd pink blush range?!
