Guerlain Happy Rosy Glow Spring Makeup Review

My Favourite Guerlain Collection Yet…?

The Guerlain Happy Rosy Glow collection instantly won my heart. Before even applying the products to my skin, my heart fluttered as I carefully unwrapped the packaging, revealing the pastel pink collection inside. The newest collection from the brand celebrates 30 years of the Meteorites (the iconic powder spheres) and the range is focused on expert colour correction, and delivering a romantic glow to the complexion.

The Meteorites Happy Rosy Glow Pearls of Powder lies at the heart of the collection, at first I was unsure how to use the pearls, but now I am hooked. I swirl my biggest brush over the pastel spheres, and sweep over my skin to give a natural yet magical glow. The pearls balance the colour of your complexion, they enhance your natural glow and give a boost of luminosity, while also correcting any blue or red hues.

Also part of the collection is the Guerlain Meteorites Brush. I actually keep this as my handbag powder brush for topping up my makeup on thug, but of course it also works perfectly with the Pearls of Powder. The soft, natural bristles seem to pick up the perfect amount of powder and release it onto the skin in one sweep. As well as this, its beautiful! The pure white handle and pink delicate bristles make it an absolute pleasure to pull out of the handbag and use.

Blossom Glow & Pearly Pink are the names of the two new KissKiss lipsticks from Guerlain. I am yet to try a Guerlain lipstick that I don’t love – they consistently provide beautiful colour payoff, and also extreme comfort, almost on the same level of my favourite balms. The new KissKiss lipsticks are no different. While during the colder months I am not quite ready for their pastel pink shades, I can already tell these are going to become favourites in Spring time. The exclusive light pink casing mimics the feminine shades of the two new colours; the formula allows the lips to regain their fullness and softness, thanks to a formula infused with plumping hyaluronic spheres and Commiphora to smooth the lip surface.

As an unashamedly girlie girl who is yet to grow out of her obsession with all things pink, it’s no surprise that I am smitten with this range. Guerlain seem to be the masters of both exclusive luxurious products, and those that pamper to my girlie tendencies!

For those that want to mattify the complexion but without loosing that beautiful radiance and glow, the pearls should be something that you look to try. That decadent feeling you get upon application is quite unlike anything I’ve tried before, and I predict the new KissKiss shades will be the perfect shades you’ll find yourself reaching for time and again this Spring.

As it’s an exclusive collection, these things tend to sell out, so don’t dawdle!

Are you tempted by the Guerlain Happy Rosy Glow Collection?

xoxo
