Tom Ford Soleil Eye & Cheek Palette

The Tom Ford palettes are highly coveted. Always selling out online and instore, they are not only a lust worthy beauty product, but a desirable accessory too. Following on from the success of the Cool & Warm Soleil palettes (of which I featured .), in the incredible Solar Exposure edition.

The palette is the first thing that blows me away; as with the previous Soleil collections which I wrote about here, it’s encased in an ivory and gold clutch; white, minimal and totally luxurious. With a blush, four incredibly wearable eyeshadows and a highlight too; it’s a great way to buy into the Tom Ford beauty collection. As you probably may have guessed, it doesn’t come cheap (whispers – it’s £98 – eek!) so to help you decide if it will work for you, I’ve included some swatches down below.

When it comes to the consistency, it is certainly impressive. The sparkling eyeshadows are softly shimmering with a soft as butter texture. They are perfectly build-able and create the most luxurious smoked eye affect, with the most perfect wearable pink sparkling shade for that irresistible shimmering finish.

Also in the palette is a soft blush and a subtle highlight. This isn’t  going to give you that ‘highlight on fleek‘ look, it’s more subtle and luxurious.

When it comes to the price, yes it’s fairly shocking and for many, £98 on a compact seems absolutely ludicrous. However, Tom Ford doesn’t promise to be bringing you a bargain; it remains true to it’s brand legacy of exclusivity and luxury. If Tom Ford beauty is something you’re looking to invest in, then the new Soleil palette is a super place to start.
